 Project updates

​Between 2014 and 2020 voters approved $120 million for the Comprehensive Neighborhood Improvement Program (CNIP) . This​ project was selected as one of the projects to move forward under the Prosperity Village CNIP. 

Project limits are from Browne Road to Benfield Road. The project includes widening DeArmon Road by installing curb & gutter, storm drainage, medians, buffered bicycle lanes, sidewalk and a greenway passage beneath DeArmon Road for the future extension of Clark's Creek Greenway.

This project is recommended in the Prosperity Hucks Area Plan ​​​​​​(2015).

  • ​To complete the infrastructure needs in the neighborhood by providing buffered bicycle lanes, median/turning lane, curb & gutter and sidewalk.

  • To provide a greenway passage beneath DeArmon Road for the future extension of Clark's Creek Greenway.

​The following public meetings were held during the planning and design phases. No other public meetings are scheduled to occur for this project.

  • ​April 4, 2017 - Community c​harrette at Prosperity Presbyterian Church

$16.5 million

​​​Please note this is the funding amount and includes all costs associated with the project such as planning and design, acquiring the right of way, utility relocation, consultant fees, construction, signalization, permits and landscaping.
