Harvey W. Moore (1924-1926)
Public Service:
Moore served as Charlotte's Mayor from 1924 until 1926. He resigned from office to run a mill in Concord, North Carolina.
Personal:
Moore was secretary-treasurer of Thrift Mill in Paw Creek. After running mills in Concord, Moore returned to Charlotte as executive director of the powerful American Cotton Manufacturers Association.
During his Administration:

- The new City Hall was opened at 600 East Trade Street.
