Mayor Dan Clodfelter welcomed the Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC) to Charlotte today at their “Brilliance Awards” luncheon which honors those who have excelled in their fields. The organization hosted their annual conference in Charlotte this year.
Mayor Clodfelter praised the HCAC for ”understand that building long term success, economic growth and expansion of your members’ careers and businesses, depends heavily on the partnership to offer educational and business development resources to help them reach their potential in the construction area.”
Clodfelter also shared city initiatives and policies that directly impact the Hispanic & Latino communities, including Charlotte Business INClusion and The Immigrant Integration Task Force.
“Our ultimate goal,” said Clodfelter “is to support organizations like yours in making our business climate and quality of life such that it supports the continued progress of your members, while also promoting the long term value and success of Hispanic-owned construction firms across our region.”
