Helping neighborhoods protect the environment
The
Community Engagement Division provides innovative programs and partnerships that enable residents, neighborhoods, and other community groups to participate in protecting and creating a healthier natural environment. In addition to the below programs, neighborhoods can design and implement their own resource conservation programs and receive funding through the
Neighborhood Matching Grant Program (NMG). Eligible NMG projects might include water, energy & waste reduction initiatives, recycling campaigns, community gardens, bike racks and more.
