March 19, 2025 - Real estate acquisition continues for this project. Construction is expected to start in mid-2025. The project team continues to coordinate with the project team for the Mallard Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion & Improvement Project.

Project Overview

The project will complete a new segment of the Cross Charlotte Trail along Mallard Creek, from Pavilion Boulevard to Kempsford Drive. The project team will identify locations that will connect the trail to the broader area bicycle and pedestrian network. The specific project limits and trail alignments will be defined during the planning and design phases. They will be posted on this page and shared with the community once they are determined.
