Announcement

Dec. 9, 2024 - Design is 90% complete and the real estate acquisition phase is underway. During this phase, the city acquires the property rights needed to build and maintain the improvements identified during the design phase. City real estate agents will contact affected property owners to explain the acquisition process and answer any questions.

Project Overview

This project will construct 0.34 miles of new, 6-foot-wide concrete sidewalk, driveway improvements and wheelchair ramps on Lawyers Road from Chestnut Lake Drive to Harri Ann Drive. 

Project Goals

  • To improve pedestrian safety and mobility
  • To enhance connectivity along Lawyers Road

Public Involvement

The project will engage nearby residents through in-person and/or virtual public meetings. Details will be shared on the project web page and postcards will be sent to nearby residents.
