Project Overview

This project will connect opposite ends of Rivergate Parkway to span Walker Branch. The bridge will connect surrounding neighborhoods to existing retail and to South Tryon Street nearby.

Project Goals

  • To increase connectivity for motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists

  • To improve neighborhood access to retail and a major thoroughfare 

Public Involvement

The construction inspector has sent notices to surrounding residences and businesses.
