Oaklawn Avenue and Beatties Ford Road Intersection

Announcement

September 23, 2024 - This project is now in the bid phase. The city uses a competitive bidding process to procure the services of a contractor to build the project. By state law, the construction contract is awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Construction is expected to start in the spring of 2025.

Preliminary design concept (March 2021)

Project Overview

This project will add truck aprons to the two eastern corners of Beatties Ford Road and Oaklawn Avenue. Also, new pedestrian push buttons and leading pedestrian interval signals will be installed.
