Description
The objective of this RFP is to obtain proposals and award a contract to one Company that will best meet Charlotte Water’s needs regarding security system services. The Company shall provide installation services, maintenance and repair services, and miscellaneous parts toward the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Charlotte Water’s security system equipment, including but not limited to video monitoring systems, facility access control systems, intercom systems, and entrance gate hardware.

Pre-Bid Location & Details
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be conducted at Charlotte Water’s Environmental Services Facility (ESF), 4222 Westmont Drive, Charlotte, NC 28217 in Conference Room A. The Pre-Proposal Conference will include a tour of security system equipment at this location, as ESF is a good example of the wide variety of security system equipment installed throughout the various Charlotte Water facilities. Additional tours will not be provided. Companies attending this tour will first be required to be on Charlotte Water’s Approved Contractor List. See Section 2.3 for details.
Bid Opening Instructions
Refer to Section 2.4. There will not be a public opening of proposals.
