Description
New drainage infrastructure and pipe re-alignment, along with curb and gutter is proposed along both sides of Delane Ave using a standard city roadway section that has a pronounced crown to direct runoff to the proposed curb and gutter. Roadside ditches along the southern edge of Delane Ave are proposed to be filled and the property frontages re-graded to drain to the proposed infrastructure. Two new catch-basins are proposed near the intersection of the alleyway and Delane Ave. Similar improvements are proposed along Castleton Rd including new drainage infrastructure, pipe re-alignment, and curb and gutter. In addition to the storm drainage improvements a new 6” water line is proposed to be installed down Castleton and connecting to the water line on Lomax Ave.
