Warranty management
These functions support the all of the departments in the City and 17 departments in Mecklenburg County that provide service to the citizens. Within each maintenance shop, Fleet Management has staffed its facility based on which classes and types of equipment are allocated for maintenance repair. Their focus is that fleet asset management should encompass strategic location, available skill complement, adequate bay space, operating hours for each facility and an adequate number of technicians. These aspects combine to provide the highest quality for maintenance repair, with the quickest turnaround time at the lowest cost for more than 6,500 pieces of equipment for the City and County combined.
