Future of Municipal Workforce - Registered Apprenticeships

We are excited to invite you to “The Future of Municipal Workforce: Registered Apprenticeships,” which the City of Charlotte Office of Workforce Development will host on National Apprenticeship Day, Wednesday, April 30.

This event is designed to bring together municipalities across the state of North Carolina, ApprenticeshipNC and city departments that have registered programs to explore the potential of registered apprenticeships in local municipalities. 

This one-day conference, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will provide a unique opportunity to share best practices and strategies for successfully starting and implementing registered apprenticeship programs in local municipalities.

Through a combination of keynote presentations, panel discussions and interactive breakout sessions, attendees will gain insights into the benefits and challenges of apprenticeships and practical steps for launching their program.

The conference is free and will be at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte (4800 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28217). Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. 

Please register by Friday, April 11.
