• International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) - USA Universities and Colleges Caucus (UCC): Their purpose is to represent emergency management issues surrounding college and university campuses.

• FEMA Independent Study Online Courses: FEMA's Emergency Management Institute provides a variety of free online courses for Emergency Management professionals to learn more about topics such as the Incident Command System (ICS), exercise evaluation, continuity of operations, emergency planning, and more. • Best Practices in Higher Education Emergency Management Conference: Held in May each year, the conference location changes depending on the host institution. The 2017 conference was held at Virginia Tech and featured presentations with the theme of "Resiliency, Maximizing Strengths, and Meeting Challenges."

• Disaster Resilient Universities (DRU) Listserv: A network comprised of university and/or college emergency management professionals where information sharing and discussions related to the field take place. The listserv is hosted by the University of Oregon's Emergency Management Program.

• Emergency Preparedness In School: A guide to the potential natural disaster risks throughout the U.S. including earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and fire as well as tips to prepare for these disasters. This guide is provided by the Community for Accredited Online Schools.
