Charlotte-Mecklenburg Emergency Management (CMEMO) Public Educator is teaming up with CFD's Fire Prevention department and the Charlotte Regional Center Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to give a two- part presentation including information on fire safety, how to respond to a home fire, and emergency preparedness information.
Audience:
Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and Hard of Hearing individuals in the region.
Great SouthEast ShakeOut Drill

Annual Regional Earthquake Drill
Activities:
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Emergency Management (CMEMO) is participating in the 2017 Great SouthEast ShakeOut Drill that is aimed to help southeasterners get better prepared for the next big earthquake and practice how to protect themselves when it happens. The purpose of the ShakeOut is to help people and organizations do both. CMEMO will be posting earthquake preparedness resources throughout the week leading up to the drill and providing information on how people and organizations to participate.
Audience:
Any organization or individual who would like to participate can go to the

to find custom information for how they can participate as an individual or within their own organization.
