The Mecklenburg County AHAC serves as Mecklenburg County's Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) and focuses on an all-hazards approach, providing an interagency platform for communication during planned events and emergencies alike.
AHAC meetings are hosted quarterly and are aimed at obtaining feedback and providing updates among stakeholders.
Who should attend?
Members who represent their agency during planned events or during emergency response, particularly members who lead an Emergency Support Function (ESF) or serve as their agency's Emergency Operations Center (EOC) representative.
All AHAC meetings take place at the Charlotte Police and Fire Training Academy on 1770 Shopton Road in room C2110 (EOC). Space in the EOC is limited so please sign up if you plan to attend a meeting.
- Please note that the regularly scheduled November meeting has been canceled for 2018 due to the AHAC Conference taking place in October.
- All 2019 meeting dates and times will be announced by the end of the 2018 calendar year.
