Doing Business with the City

his project entails the renovation of the eastern portion of the passenger terminal building, often referred to as the “D/E Connector”, as well as a building addition to the south of this connector.  The renovation scope of work will encompass approximately 67,000 square feet of shell space to accommodate concessions opportunities and airline offices.  The current American Airlines Admirals Club program will require expansion of the building, creating a new 40,000 square foot club shell space.  See images below for project boundaries.

The project scope includes the following items:

Repositioning the major passenger circulation route of the D/E connector between the Atrium to the end of the moving walkways at the approach of Concourse D.
Relocating the airline lounge space from the Ticketing level to an upper-level location while expanding it to 40,000 square feet
Providing a new passenger destination and experience at the Ticketing level that will provide increased financial returns to the airport
Providing service area at the Ramp level to accommodate operational needs per the project program
American Airline (AA) Club – 40,000 sf
Concessions – 30,000 sf
AA Offices – 16,000 sf
Loading docks and service courts
