Construction
The project spans approximately 1.5 miles and will add transportation capacity along Lakeview Road from Cushing
Drive to Old Statesville Road to accommodate the additional traffic expected as a result of the construction of NCDOT's I‐77 Lakeview Road Direct Connect Interchange project. Improvements under this project will include pavement upgrades, intersection modifications, additional through/turning lanes, upgrading drainage infrastructure, and pedestrian and bicycle facilities. Contractor shall coordinate with other contractors and utility companies working on adjacent project (Lakeview Road and Reames Rd Intersection) during construction.
