Requests for surety adjustment reviews for eligible sureties may be made at any time during the life of the project. The requests must be in writing using a Surety Action Request Form and must be accompanied by a copy of the initially recorded plat and subsequent revisions, if any. No credit allowed for installed storm drainage or BMPs until as-built plan is approved. To receive credit for stone base, asphalt, curb & gutter or sidewalk, 100 percent of the item must be installed unless this form is accompanied by a scaled plan delineating the limits of work for which credit is requested.
Please note, adjustment requests must be submitted with the applicable fee. The review process will not begin until payment is received.

Surety adjustment reviews may require up to ten (10) business days to complete. Upon receipt of the adjustment review results, the issuing bank, surety company or surety agent will then require time to process the amendment or rider necessary to officially amend the surety on file with Land Development. We therefore encourage our customers to send adjustment review requests well in advance of due dates for renewals (LOC's) or continuation certificates (surety bonds), as adjustment reviews in progress do not affect due dates for these documents.
