Residents can call 704.336.4262 or email landscapemanagement@charlottenc.gov to request a tree be placed in front of your home. This can occur in the planting strip or in the city right-of-way if you do not have a sidewalk. The right-of-way is the area within 10 feet of the edge of the curb.
An inspector will come out to look at the area to determine if a tree can be planted. If it can, your address will be placed on a list to receive a tree in an upcoming planting season, which takes places between January and March each year.
