La Caseta
After reviving Three Amigos and creating Sabor Latin Street Grill, Dalton and Miriam Espaillat reintroduced themselves to Charlotte a third time with La Caseta. The motto at 1801 North Graham Street (Suite 203) is “Mother Made Latin Food,” but this isn’t just branding. The entire La Caseta concept is an homage to Miriam’s El Salvadoran mother and to the legacy of passing down culture through food. Visit La Caseta online.

“In all of North Carolina, this is the only place where I have seen them do tacos Al Pastor the way they are supposed to be done, on a stand-up rotisserie with layers of onions and pineapples. Their tacos are traditional. You want a real taco, this is the place!” - William H.

MICH Tocumbo
This traditional Mexican paleteria has a variety of treats to enjoy—including stuffed churros, agua frescas, and a super mangonada. The real star of the show, however, is their natural ice cream. With 28 deliciously unique flavors, you’re sure to find a dessert you love at 6301 North Tryon Street. Visit MICH Tocumbo online.
