Hurricane Helene: Support Recovery

There are people within Mecklenburg County who have been directly impacted by Hurricane Helene. Your generosity helps us meet the needs of our neighbors as they are receiving long-term recovery support. We are setting up a donation drive for those in Charlotte affected by the Riverside Drive flooding. Find information here:

For Charlotte Neighbors:

  • Send direct donations to:
  • Send items to: Calvary Baptist Church at 2727 Mt Holly-Huntersville Road, Charlotte, NC 28214
    • Open: Wednesday, Oct. 2, to Saturday, Oct. 6.
    • Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    • Items needed:
      • Clean-up items: tarps, work gloves, trash bags, shovels, etc.
      • Cleaning supplies: brooms, mops, cleaning solution, etc.
      • Bottled water.
      • Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.
      • New towels: bath towels and washcloths.
      • Pet food: for dogs and cats.
