City Launches New Features for Planning and Development Web Tool

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Oct. 19, 2023) – Charlotte Planning, Design & Development today launched weekly notifications and printable reports for the Development Near Me tool. These new features will enhance user experience and accessibility. 

"Our commitment is to continuously evolve the Development Near Me tool to meet the needs of our users," said Alyson Craig, planning director. "The addition of weekly notifications and printable reports demonstrates how the City of Charlotte is ensuring vital information is more accessible for residents."

Weekly Notifications

Users can now opt to receive regular email updates with important milestones, deadlines, and other critical events related to developments within a half mile of their address. 

Printable Reports

The printable reports feature allows users to generate comprehensive reports that encapsulate vital project data and provide a snapshot of progress and critical insights. Users can customize the layout to suit their specific needs.
