City Hosts Annual Action Plan Public Forums

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Feb. 5, 2024) – The Annual Consolidated Action Plan is the City of Charlotte’s application to receive federal funds under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for the following entitlement grants: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Home Investment Partnership Act (HOME), Emergency Solution Grant (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA). This document is required by HUD to report on the status of needs and outcomes expected to be achieved in Fiscal Year 2024. The Action Plan will address housing and community development issues.
The City of Charlotte would like your participation in the preparation of the FY 2024 Annual Action Plan. Please join us to find out how funds are being spent in your community and offer suggestions for new programs or projects. The City of Charlotte encourages residents to become involved in the development of the Annual Action Plan. Your participation is needed to discuss how we can best serve our community.
The city will hold two public forums on the Annual Action Plan:
- Consortium & Nonprofits (open to public) – Feb. 15, 2024, at 3 p.m., Old City Hall, Wilmore Room, 600 East Trade St.
- Community Relations Committee – Feb. 20, 2024, at 5 p.m., Virtual
