Attention CATS Riders: October Service Change

Starting Monday, October 7, 2024, CATS will adjust several routes to improve rider experience and on-time performance. The impacted routes include: 5, 15, 23, 24, 28, 34, 40x, 43, 46x, 52x, 60, 64x and 74x.

CATS to Suspend Blue Line and Gold Line Service for Maintenance

All Blue Line and Gold Line service will be suspended beginning at 2 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 through 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, for preventative maintenance. Bus bridges will be in place during the suspension of service, and service will resume as normal at 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21.

Public Meetings on Microtransit, Conversion of Routes 97, 98, 99 and 2

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will host public meetings to inform riders about its microtransit service. The meeting will also cover the proposed conversion to microtransit of routes 97, 98, 99, 290, as well as the discontinuation of route 47x. These changes would occur in 2025.

LoSo Parking Deck Opens

The MAA LoSo Garage parking deck off the Blue Line light rail near Scaleybark Station will open to CATS riders on Monday, Oct. 7. Beginning Monday, CATS riders with a valid transit pass can park at the LoSo deck for free.
