2024 Veterans Day Parade Gold Line Service Impacts

On Saturday, Nov. 9, Gold Line service will be suspended between CTC and French Street stations for the Veterans Day Parade from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.The Gold Line will continue to operate between Sunnyside and CTC stations on a 20-minute headway, and a bus bridge will be in place to supplement service between CTC and French Street during the parade.

Public Meetings on Blue Line Station in South End

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will host public meetings to share design updates for the future Blue Line station and pedestrian track crossing in South End. CATS is currently in the design phase of the project and is seeking public input.

TMV Upgrades to Begin Along Blue Line

Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 30, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will perform network upgrades at Ticket Vending Machines (TMV) along the North Corridor section of the Blue Line.
The upgrades are scheduled for 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. During that time, the TVM card readers will be offline and only accepting cash.

Bus Detour due to Concert for Carolina

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will temporarily adjust the following routes due to road closures for the Concert for Carolina at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday. The concert and festival will donate all proceeds to Hurricane Helene relief efforts in the Carolina region. Organizers are also accepting donations of canned food (specifically vegetables, fruit and soups) at the event.

Bus Bridge Stop Locations

Riders can use the bus bridge during the shut down. The bus bridge will pick up and drop off riders using a bus that stops at or near rail stations. To view a complete list of bus bridge locations, go to RideTransit.org, or scan the QR on the signs located at the stations.

CATS to Restripe Archdale Park and Ride

The Archdale Park and Ride, located along the Blue Line at 6230 South Blvd., will be restriped beginning Monday, Oct. 14. The Park and Ride will be closed until the work is completed.

CATS to Suspend Blue Line and Gold Line Service for Maintenance

All Blue Line and Gold Line service will be suspended beginning at 2 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 through 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, for preventative maintenance. Bus bridges will be in place during the suspension of service, and service will resume as normal at 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21.
