Attention CATS Blue and Gold Line Riders:

All Blue Line and Gold Line service will be suspended beginning at 2 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 through 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, for preventative maintenance.

Riders can use the buses in the bus bridge to get to and from any destination the rail would typically take them.

Bus Bridge Stop Locations

Riders can use the bus bridge during the shut down. The bus bridge will pick up and drop off riders using a bus that stops at or near rail stations. To view a complete list of bus bridge locations, go to RideTransit.org, or scan the QR on the signs located at the stations.

The Archdale Park and Ride, located along the Blue Line at 6230 South Blvd., will be restriped beginning Monday, Oct. 14. The Park and Ride will be closed until the work is completed.

CATS to Suspend Blue Line and Gold Line Service for Maintenance

All Blue Line and Gold Line service will be suspended beginning at 2 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 through 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, for preventative maintenance. Bus bridges will be in place during the suspension of service, and service will resume as normal at 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21.

Public Meetings on Microtransit, Conversion of Routes 97, 98, 99 and 2

The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will host public meetings to inform riders about its microtransit service. The meeting will also cover the proposed conversion to microtransit of routes 97, 98, 99 and 290. These changes would occur in 2025.

LoSo Parking Deck Opens

The MAA LoSo Garage parking deck off the Blue Line light rail near Scaleybark Station will open to CATS riders on Monday, Oct. 7. Beginning Monday, CATS riders with a valid transit pass can park at the LoSo deck for free.
