CATS Announces Public Meeting for Better Bus Project
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will host an open house style meeting on Thursday, June 6, from 5-7 p.m. at the Charlotte Fire Department Headquarters (500 Dalton Ave, Charlotte, NC 28206). The Better Bus Project is an initiative aimed at enhancing the public transit experience for riders across the greater Charlotte region.
Key objectives of the Better Bus project include:
- Facilitating ease of use: Implementing measures to simplify bus service navigation for riders.
- Accelerating bus trips: Introducing strategies to reduce travel times and enhance reliability and connectivity.
- Enhancing service accessibility: Improving bus services in areas with limited mobility options.
