Unveiling CATS’ first Cultural Inclusion of Bus Wrap

CATS is thrilled to unveil the first Cultural Inclusion Bus Wrap, a vibrant and meaningful artwork designed by Charlotte artist Javon Jeter. This stunning design celebrates our community's rich diversity and cultural heritage, symbolizing our unwavering commitment to fostering belonging, unity and inclusion among all riders.

At this special event, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Hear from artist Javon Jeter and CATS leadership.
  • Participate in a celebratory moment to honor this milestone.
  • Capture photos with the bus wrap and other event highlights.

This initiative marks the launch of a multi-year Cultural Showcase Campaign. CATS will collaborate with local artists to feature additional bus wraps that celebrate the essence of our mission: Moving People Forward.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center (CMGC) Garage is conveniently located near the event site.

Entrance: Enter the garage at 232 S. Davidson St. Charlotte, NC 28202.
Parking: Upon arrival, follow the signs to the visitor parking section.

Directions from the Garage to the Event Location:

- Once parked, take the garage elevators or stairs to the ground level.
- Exit the garage onto S. Davidson St.
- Walk towards East Fourth Street (approximately a 2-minute walk).
- The Plaza/Traffic Circle is located directly in front of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center at 600 East Fourth Street.

Parking Fee: Standard hourly rates apply. Please check the posted signage at the garage entrance for details.
Accessibility: Handicap-accessible parking spaces are available near the garage elevators.
Street Parking: Limited street parking is available nearby. Arrive early to secure a spot.
