Welcome back to the CATS Holiday Express Train - our magical journey is returning for its second year, and it’s bigger and better! Whether you’re young or just young at heart, gather your loved ones for an enchanting ride filled with holiday cheer.
This year, we’re spreading the joy even further with TWO train rides! Mark your calendars for Sunday, December 10, 2023, and choose your departure time: 1 p.m. for daytime dazzle or 5 p.m. for evening enchantment.
Departure Point: LYNX Blue Line Woodlawn Station - 4756 Old Pineville Road, Charlotte, NC 28217 (Free parking at station.)
Start your journey at the Woodlawn Station, where our cheerful CATS Elves will be ready to greet you! Then, hop on board our Holiday Express, which will whisk you away to a world of wonder. As the train chugs along, immerse yourself in the festive spirit with readings of ‘Christmas in the City.’ Feel the holiday vibes as the story unfolds during your ride to University City Blvd Station.
The magic doesn’t stop at the station! CATS Elves will guide you to the CATS Winter Wonderland, a festive paradise where you can:
- Get creative with holiday crafts
- Experience fun face painting
- Savor delicious hot cocoa
- Capture memories with a photo moment
Ticket Info: First Come, First Served!
With a heart full of joy but a train with limited capacity, we offer tickets on a first come, first served basis. Each family can claim up to three tickets, including adults. Remember, once they’re gone, they’re gone!
