Detour for Taste of Charlotte 2018
 
Routes 45X, 61X, 62X
 
Starting Friday, June 8, 2018, select streets in Uptown Charlotte will close for Taste of Charlotte activities.  The 45X, 61X, and 62X will use their regular morning routing until 9:00am, Friday morning.    The evening trips on Routes 45X, 61X, and 62X will use their same routing to 3rd St and Church St. service will continue turning right on Church St, to Stonewall St, to College, right on 3rd and resume the regular routing.  Customers typically boarding at the bus stops on 3rd between Church St and College may board at bus stops along Church St. to Stonewall and/or on 3rd St east of College St.  
 
Uptown traffic congestion is expected during this detour.  Your patience is appreciated.

Routes 41X, 48X, 53X, 77X, 82X, 85X, 88X
 
Starting Friday, June 8, 2018,  select streets in Uptown Charlotte will close for Taste of Charlotte activities.  Routing will continue straight on 4th St to College St, turn right on College, left on 6th, left on Church St, right on Trade St, left on Mint St. right on 4th St and resume regular routing.  . 
 
Customers typically alighting at the bus stop on along 4th St.  may instead at the Charlotte Transportation Center (CTC) or on 4th St. west of Mint St
 
Uptown traffic congestion is expected during this detour.  Your patience is appreciated.
 
On Friday June 8, 2018 afternoon express bus routes listed above will be on detour because of Taste of Charlotte activities. 
 
Afternoon buses will use the same outbound detour and the inbound service will use the regular routing to 3rd St and Church, turn right on Church St, left on Stonewall St, left on College St, right on 3rd St and resume regular routing.  
 
Afternoon outbound passengers are asked to board at CTC, Johnson & Wales or a bus stop along the detour.  
 
Uptown traffic congestion is expected to be heavier than usual. Your patience is appreciated.
