Public assistance requested in armed robbery from business incident

Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s Armed Robbery Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects, pictured below, who robbed the Stars Wireless business at gunpoint.

On Thursday, February, 25, 2016, at approximately 7:30 p.m., two unknown black males robbed the Stars Wireless, located at 2907 Freedom Drive, at gunpoint. After receiving property from the business the suspects fled the scene.

One of the suspects is described as being heavy set and approximately 6’0” in height and was last seen wearing a black jacket with a mask over his mouth and black sneakers. He was described as having a deep voice.

The second suspect is described as having a thin build and slightly taller than the first suspect. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, light colored jeans, tennis shoes and had a mask over his face.
