Charlotte, N.C. – Citizens can take the 80X-Concord Express to the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race and Coca-Cola 600 Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 29. Service will start at 12:00 noon, with departures every 20 minutes from the Charlotte Transportation Center at 310 East Trade Street and the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Uptown. Buses will take riders to the race up to 6:00 p.m. and pick up in the same area to return to Uptown immediately following the race.
Round trip fare is only $8.80 per person. Riders can pay upon initial boarding. Only exact cash fare is accepted on bus fareboxes. On Saturday, May 21, CATS pass sales offices at the CTC will be open from 9:00am-6:00pm and on Sunday May 29, 9:00 am to 1:00pm and 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
