Mayor Announces City Council Committee Assignments

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Dec. 15, 2017) – Mayor Vi Alexander Lyles has released her City Council committee appointments, effective immediately and running through December of 2018.

The mayor has worked to consolidate eight committees into six committees, with no reduction in city service oversight. Council committees will mirror the Council Focus Areas. 

"The workload is balanced and encourages diversity of thought," said Mayor Lyles.

The committee assignments are as follows:
