House of Worship Safety Seminar

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Community Engagement Division will be hosting two House of Worship Safety Seminars.  This FREE 2-hour seminar is designed for clergy leaders, security teams, and any other staff members responsible for the safety of their house of worship.  The goal of the seminar is to provide each house of worship with the knowledge and strategies to make the congregation a safer place for all.

The topics to be discussed during the seminar include:
  • Active Shooter Survival: The ABC’S to Active Shooter Response
  • Emergency Operations Plan
  • Building Security
  • Personal Safety
