This grant program is designed to help the community foster peace and prosperity with Charlotte’s Sister Cities and other international relationships. Through this program we will support community initiatives to connect with the Charlotte Sister Cities and beyond.

 Art Poetry Music 2017

Opera Carolina celebrating Charlotte's richly diverse community, Art • Poetry • Music features traditional Korean, Chinese, Lao and Indian music, dance, visual art and the spoken word starring an array of great artists headlined by Metropolitan Opera and Opera Carolina star tenor Yi Li and guest artists from Cyrano.

 Application Deadline City Council's Boards & Commissions

The City of Charlotte has over 30 boards and commissions.  Citizens of Mecklenburg County can volunteer to participate by applying for a vacancy. Interested citizens should fill out the online application and submit it to the Office of the City Clerk.
