LYNX Stations and Parking


 LYNX has 26 stations, including 11 Park and Ride locations. Parking is free at most of the LYNX park and ride locations. 

​ JW Clay Station and University City Blvd Station need a pass valued at a day pass or higher (day pass, weekly pass, or monthly pass) to exit the parking deck. If no day pass or higher valued pass was purchased a $10.00 fee will be required to exit the parking deck. 

All other park and rides along light rail system are free to use. To determine which stations have a park and ride, look for the Icon of Parking Lots on LYNX light rail lineon the LYNX Blue Line map. 

LYNX Blue Line map of stations. Stations start at the southern end at I-485 and South Boulevard which has a large parking and ride lot.  Next station is Sharon Road West on 8815 Crump Road and has a park and ride lot. Arrowood Station is next with entrance to the park and ride lot from 7717 England Street.  The Archdale station is next located at 6230 South Boulevard with access also from Archdale station. Use of the elevator or steps are required to access this elevated station.  Tyvola Station is also elevated with steps and an elevator available.  This station is located at 5703 Old Pine ville Road and also from South Tryon street with a park and ride lot under the elevated station.  Traveling northbound the Woodlawn Station is located on 4756 Old Pine ville Road and has a park and ride lot across the street.  Scaleybark Station is next located in the middle of South Boulevard.  The park and ride lot is located at 3750 South Boulevard.  This is the last station south of uptown that has a park and ride lot.  The next five station are walkup station and are located heading northbound as follows.   Newbern Station at 129 New Bern Street, The East / West Boulevard station is at 1821 Camden Street Bland Street Station at 1821 Camden Street, Carson Station at 218 E. Carson Boulevard, the Stonewall Street Station is located behind the Westin hotel and has elevator and stairs access from 260 E. Stonewall Street, 3rd street station at 305 E. 3rd Street.  Your next station is the Charlotte Transit Center which is an elevated station with ramp access to the Charlotte Transit Center connecting to elevators inside the center.  Access to uptown is also available an elevator located on the north end of the station on the outbound track side.  The next five stations are walkup stations without any park and rides.  7th street station is next located at 260 E. 7th Street. 9th Street Station is at 237 E. 9th Street.  Parkwood Station is at 327 Parkwood Ave.  25th Street Station is located at 2227 N. Brevard Street and 36th street station is at 434 E. 36th Street.  The Sugar Creek Station has a parking deck and a bridge at the northern end of the station that has steps and an elevator to gain access to Brevard Street.  Sugar Creek Station is at 644 E. Sugar Creek Rd.  Old Concord Road Station is next located at 5442 N. Tryon Street and has park and ride lot.  The next station, Tom Hunter Station is located in the middle of North Tryon Street at 6505 N. Tryon Street.  Pedestrian access is available at the crossing of North Tryon Street and Tom Hunter with Ped signals on each side of of North Tryon Street and at the station.  University City Boulevard station is located 7205 N. Tryon Street and is in the middle of North Tryon street.  Pedestrian access is available from the parking deck through a bridge from the 3rd floor deck.  The bridge has an elevator and steps to gain access to the station platform.  Pedestrian signals are also available at the crossing of North Tryon Street and University City Station Boulevard.  McCullough Station is next located at 8312 N. Tryon Street and is in the middle of North Tryon Street with pedestrian access is available at the crossing of North Tryon Street and McCullough with Ped signals on each side of of North Tryon Street and at the station.  JW Clay / UNC Charlotte station is located 9048 N. Tryon Street and is in the middle of North Tryon street.  Pedestrian access is available from the parking deck through a bridge from the 3rd floor deck.  The bridge has an elevator and steps to gain access to the station platform.  Pedestrian signals are also available at the crossing of North Tryon Street and JW Clay.  The most northern station is located on the campus of UNC Charlotte University at the UNC Charlotte Main station located at 9025 Cameron Blvd.
