​​​Jerry Schwinghammer serves as the Assistant Aviation Director of Technology for Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). He is responsible for overseeing the Airport’s information technology systems and advancing the Airport’s IT infrastructure throughout all life-cycle phases in order to meet CLT business needs. 

Schwinghammer has been employed at CLT for 2 years. His additional experience in technology operations and planning roles for various public agencies includes:

  • Technology Manager, Orlando International Airport (MCO)
  • Strategic Planner, City of Orlando
  • Principal Planner, City of Coral Springs
  • Budget Analyst and Planner, City of Minneapolis
Schwinghammer holds a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in German Language Studies from the University of Saint Thomas.
