A new traffic signal has been approved by the North Carolina Department of Transportation for installation at the intersection of Providence Road and Strawberry Hill Drive. The signal is being installed to accommodate the existing and future left turning traffic, provide an improved pedestrian and bicycle crossing of Providence Road and better coordinate traffic flow on Providence Road.
