The City of Charlotte will provide an opportunity for interested parties to walk-through the structures located on these properties on April 6, 2017 between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.  This walk-through opportunity is strictly voluntary and attendance will not be taken into consideration during the selection process.  This will be the only walk-through opportunity prior to the April 21st deadline for responses.

Belmont Area Revitalization

In 2003 the Belmont Area Revitalization Plan was completed that identified goals for the revitalization the neighborhood. In 2016, the Belmont Community Association developed an update and while the goals and objectives remained similar, it recognized that the economic climate had changed and advocated for diversity.

Through the solicitation process, the City seeks to sell and partner with a developer to redevelop two once blighted properties into commercial amenities for the community. Proposals should consider the historic character of the community to create new jobs for the neighborhood, contribute to the on-going revitalization of Belmont, and increase the tax base.

Interested development partners can find the solicitation and additional information on this web page.
