CharMeck 311 serves as the contact center for Charlotte and Mecklenburg County customers. Customers can call 311 Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. or submit service requests online 24 hours a day.

311 Services

Everyone within Mecklenburg County that receives a service provided by the county or City of Charlotte may call 311 regarding that service or to learn about other services.

The 311 team can assist you with city departments, including City of Charlotte Solid Waste Services, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Charlotte Water, the City of Charlotte Housing and Neighborhood Services Department, and the City of Charlotte Department of Transportation.

CharMeck 311 will also help with county departments, including Park and Recreation, Tax Collections & Assessment, Land Use & Environmental Services Agency, and the Sheriff’s Office.
